- Clover's default canon point, when not deliberately choosing a different one or playing some sort of AU, is post-True Pacifist. However, it should be taken into account that Clover did go through a few Neutral runs before getting there. More about this below the cut.
- In the case of RPs that aren't with their home universe cast (like bakerstreet toplevels and such), unless the situation calls for the above point, another common default will be pre-UTY entirely. AKA the era where Clover is very much a runaway fleeing their old home to go do something a kid their age should not be doing and trying not to tip anyone off abt it. its fine
- A large part of my portrayal of Clover is taken from the mod Undertale: Red and Yellow (which is a VERY good mod with very wonderful writing and cool additions to base UT that u should try out. go do it it has The Sillies in it. it just got an update that let clover crash out its great). While I love the mod, and would love to play a version of Clover who directly is taken from & goes along with said mod's events, I won't force anyone to do the samethough like if u wanna. iykyk
- Unlike the canon UTDR protagonists (and if you wanna fight me on that part you can leave), Clover's gender has been confirmed by the UTY devs to be up to interpretation, though the fact that they/them was used throughout the whole game shouldn't really be discounted. My portrayal of Clover uses solely they/them, but is fine with both neutral (ie: liege, kid, cowpoke, etc.) and masculine (ie: king, son, cowboy, etc.) terms.
- I'll go into further detail down below, but taking into account backstory implications from both UTY & R+Y, as well as what they actually go through in said game(s), this account will feature themes of child neglect & abuse, poverty, & issues with repressed trauma & emotions.
- I'll actually probably make an opt-in/out post going more into this, but as shown in UTY, Clover has the unexplained ability to view people's memories, under specific circumstances. If you'd rather this not occur during any threads of ours, let me know (though again, it is VERY situational).
- If you are EVER unsatisfied with a reply I made (isn't clear enough, does something you'd prefer be different), or want a thread we started somewhat randomly to go a certain direction after we're in it a bit, PLEASE TELL ME! As long as you're polite about it, I'll gladly either change my replies or continue the thread accordingly!
- All of the art for my icons is either official art for Undertale Yellow (and thus done by the art team for that game, particularly Figburn and AeroArtwork), or art by viviiyon, the main artist behind the promo art & talk sprites for Undertale: Red and Yellow (and also a maker of really really good UTY-focused animatics). Please go look up their stuff & support them however you can, they're all incredible artists who deserve so much for what they do (fig has an original game did u know that).

Backtagging: Don't mind at all! I completely get that IRL stuff gets in the way, or inspiration vanishes, or something else comes up that prevents someone from replying for a while. If it's over a few months old, maybe shoot me a DM to check if I still wanna continue it, but more often than not my answer will be yes!
Threadhopping: Case-by-case basis. I'd prefer, most of the time, for both me and my current RP partner in the thread you wish to comment on to get asked "hey is it cool if i do this" before just hopping in, but I'd be more likely to accept random hop-ins if it's, say, taking place in a public setting where all of our characters would logically be at at once. Threads specifically locked to one person/specific people will be an automatic no for jump-ins, though.
Fourthwalling: It's not often my thing, but I'm a bit more willing to do it with Clover since fourth-wall breaking is kinda a UTDR staple. But mostly for one-off memes or under certain circumstances.
CWs/Triggers: The most I get is squeamish about detailed gore, but it's not overly serious, and beyond that I really have nothing. If you, personally, want to openly avoid certain topics in our RPs, though, PLEASE let me know!
IC
Hugging: Perfectly fine with it!! Please do it actually. please. god please this kid has been through so much they need a hug badly
Kissing: Within reason, and maybe with a bit of discussion first, but as long as they're within age-range i'll probably be fine w/ it
Shipping: Similar to above - within reason, within age-range - but also...Clover has a lot going on, be it canon-related or background-related. Ships will require build-up and chemistry, and I'd prefer they get discussed before we try to commit to anything
NSFW: No.
Fighting: fighting is literally what undertale is like as a series ok. They have a Gun they're willing to dispense judgement if necessary
Injuring: again. fight them. but in all seriousness, any serious/long-lasting/potentially-permanent injuries I'd prefer some discussion on beforehand, but in general they logically will get injured during a fight (i am very bad at undertale on pc dfgbdfkhdfg)
Killing: Clover has canonically died on multiple accounts! But if you specifically wanna kill them, I'd again prefer discussion beforehand, though keep in mind I'll really only agree if its for a reason beyond just "they die".
Telepathy/Mind-Reading: Sure! If you don't mind them potentially doing it back! Your Memories Are Forfeit, Get Judged, Idiot
CWs/Triggers: As stated before, this portrayal will include topics like neglect, abuse, poverty, and repression. Clover themself doesn't seem to have any obvious fears, but have been implied to be, for example, afraid of doing certain things without permission (like doing chores), and seem to not miss their life before the Underground a whole lot. (even further clarification below bc it involves some p heavy spoilers)
Extra Info
!!!!!!SPOILER WARNING BELOW!!!!!!
What you see here are details from both Undertale Yellow & Undertale: Red and Yellow that I take into account regarding my portrayal of Clover. They involve spoilers, and also some fairly heavy stuff involving previous content warnings. Please keep this in mind.
Theme/Backstory Details: Finally going more into this; with what we get from base UTY, along with the stuff Clover reveals in R+Y, it paints the picture of a poor family (or general living situation), where Clover likely had to take on some responsibilities at a young age, and likely experienced some pretty severe neglect and/or abuse.
As stated above, they insist on not doing dishes (something implied to be one of said responsibilities) without being told to, implying they got in trouble for doing so for...some reason. The cramped conditions of the Feisty Five's house is also stated to bring back "unpleasant memories", which means they might've had a small house, or that their old house was filled with so many people that it was uncomfortably full (I personally go with the former); regardless, they likely had barely any space for themself alone.
While they might be a bit more played for humor at times, the fact that Clover is fully willing to eat typically-considered-inedible things (like packing peanuts and gunpowder), and that they apparently have no moral problems with swiping little things left out with no owner nearby, further support the poverty idea, meaning they probably got little food even on good days (or, at least, it wasn't very good or filling food), and have occasionally resorted to stealing to survive.
There's also how willing they are, in most endings or stated situations, to stay with somebody in the Underground, to the point of abandoning their mission. In the Neutral route, it's revealed that they almost always chose to stay with Toriel in the Ruins if allowed to go through with her, and they always accept Martlet's option to stay with her in the same route, regardless of LV or status. And, yknow, the fact that they apparently so readily went up to Mt. Ebott (completely on their own, I might add) in the first place.
Clover themself is...honestly prone to making light of their past situation, even joking about it, but I need to be clear that this is something I consider a serious & important part of this portrayal, and they're a lot more affected by it than they let on (maybe even more than they realize).
Route Details: So! Routes! Like I said, Clover is, by default, taken from the post-True Pacifist ending...with a bit of a caveat.
Clover has gone through a few Neutral routes. And yes, I do mean a few. Enough to exhaust Flowey's dialogue (FUN value-induced one included! :] ) for it. They have killed, and have been killed, and have gone through the Meta Flowey fight a good few times.
By default, Clover does not directly remember any of this, but. They do experience vague deja vu, as well as residual guilt & fear from what they experienced along those paths. It also makes their feelings on Flowey a bit complicated; since their primary memories are of True Pacifist, they consider him a friend, but they also get this inexplicable feeling of dread about him. They also get occasional nightmares about these routes, though they're often pretty vague or mixed up, and Clover has no idea where it all comes from.
Clover has not gone through a full Vengeance Route, but they came really close a couple times. Particularly the first run, when they had no other desire than to find the missing kids, and no emotions towards monsters other than anger at them being the likely culprits. It made them a pretty easy target for Flowey's manipulation.
I will not shy away from this whole topic under normal circumstances where it would become relevant, and I will not sway on that stance. Please state clearly if you don't want anything about Clover's previous runs, and what happened in them, to come up during interactions.
Repression: Oyea there was one more thing there wasn't it.
I won't mince words: Clover does not talk about their problems. Not without some serious prodding, or having it dragged out of them kicking and screaming, anyway. Good luck getting them to discuss the more difficult parts of their trip through the Underground, or the weird nonsensical nightmares they have, or anything from before they fell, because they will push the topic aside, off the table, and let it roll away off of a cliff into a bottomless pit before they say anything.
Also, emotional repression. That's a thing. Clover typically puts on a brave face and pleasant demeanor, and very little seems to genuinely get under their skin...but it's actually way easier to make them snap than you might think at first. They are a Justice SOUL, after all, for better or for worse; doing things they consider "unjust" and "wrong" is an easy way to make them not like you; and if you have little-to-no or bad justification for it, or if it's something they particularly hate and see no good reason for, they'll despise you. Look up the Axis fight on the Vengeance route in Yellow, or the recently-rewritten no mercy run for R+Y, to see a good example of what I mean.
Anyway, outside of that, they actually hide pretty well when something's bothering them, most of the time. Even if someone notices and asks about it, they're likely to just casually brush it off. At best, they'll give a vague answer and leave it at that. It takes a lot of trust for them to willingly open up to someone...and sometimes, not even that trust is enough.
It's not like they're unaware of any of this, either. Again in R+Y, Chara even calls them out on all of it at one point, bluntly telling them to their face that they shouldn't repress things so often. Do they know it's unhealthy? Yeah! They know it's bad, and have seen firsthand what it can do to people! Will that stop them from doing it themself? Nope!
All that is to say: please for the love of god make this kid snap, let them let out their emotions, make them talk about their issues I AM ACTIVELY BEGGING HERE THEY NEED IT WAY MORE THAN THEY REALIZE
